Senses in Animate Exhibition at Gallery at South Hill

Please join me Saturday, August 15th from 4-7 for a socially distanced, mask required, Opening Reception at Gallery at South Hill, 950 Danby Rd (lower level) where I will be exhibiting this new body of work for the very first time.  The exhibit includes an over seven foot block installation, smaller installations, an interactive magnet work, a stereoscopic image and 37 other pieces of wall art to enjoy. 

My new work, called "Senses in Animate", is a colorful, motion filled series of multiple exposure portraits made as each subject activates one or more of the five senses with the object of their choice. This project is an exploration of the portrait captured in multiple frames while the subject experiences a sensory reaction, and equally, an exploration of how the human eye is challenged by viewing and experiencing multiple, overlapping images.
